Adjust Your Decoys To The Wind Direction
Duck Hunting Gear » duck decoys and duck decoy spreads » Adjust Your Decoys To The Wind Direction
Here is an Interesting video on adjusting decoys to wind direction. The basic premise is to use your decoys as blockers and funnels to get the ducks to approach as you would like. In the case in the video he is hunting a bend in a stream and places his duck decoys all the way across so that the ducks will stop and land right in front of the blind. A similar strategy would be to place your duck decoys in a funnel type patter to get the ducks to fly where you want.
Do you have any good advice for placing duck decoys acording to the wind direction?
