An excellent point that I should have included in my original post.  Puddle ducks as a general rule are in shallower due to how they eat (i.e. they tip up and eat from that bottom that way).  The diver ducks actually dive below the surface and therefore are in deeper water as a general rule.  

Appreciate the well written comment!  Every little bit helps to set your spread apart from the other spreads on your favorite hunting slough.</description>

Adding to it, a bit, you should also place the blocks in a natural manner. That is, put the puddle duck decoys closer to shore, and the divers out in the deeper water. 

Also, if you study live ducks, puddlers tend to spread out, helter-skelter, whereas divers raft up. Decoy placement that mimics that behavior tends to work best.</description>
