Even for hunters that are pass shooters and don't necessarily bag their ducks coming in to land in the decoys, a set of decoys will get you more opportunities.  Ducks are simply social creatures and even if they aren't going to land next to the decoys they will fly closer simply to take a quick look.  A large spread of duck decoys can really set you apart from your duck hunting competition.  I personally like to have several different brands of decoys in my spread to give it a more natural look.  Not every duck looks the same, neither should your decoy spread.
